中文摘要 構造轉換帶往往是褶皺逆衝帶中主要逆衝斷層的終點,它們會表現出不同逆衝斷層間滑移量、滑移面與構造型態的轉換。台灣島造山帶西側前緣可區分成一系列向西逆衝的斷層系統,過往研究已了解不同斷層系統各自的構造形貌與特性,但對於它們之間的構造轉換帶卻甚少著墨。本研究以(由東向西)鹿窟斷層和觸口斷層(嘉義系統)與(由東向西)布拉社-平溪斷層、馬頭山斷層-竹頭崎斷層和崙後斷層(台南系統)間的構造轉換帶為研究對象,目的在探討構造轉換帶兩側逆衝斷層系統相接的複雜幾何形貌,並提出構造演化模型。本研究根據中油地質圖進行地表地質分析,並以地層分離圖(Stratigraphic Separation diagram, SSD)討論主要逆斷層之間地下相連的特性,收集修改前人繪製的構造平衡剖面並加入數條本研究繪製的新剖面,最後建立地下三維構造形貌和提出主要逆衝斷層演化時序的特性。
地表地質圖、SSD與構造平衡剖面的結果顯示﹕1. 獺頭斷層為鹿窟斷層側斷坡,南端與作為台南系統早期的逆衝斷層布拉社斷層相連,且此斷層的出現早於南側斷層並侷限南側斷層的的側向發育;2. 竹頭崎斷層與馬頭山斷層相連;3.轉換帶西側發育的背衝楔狀體為造成此區域構造形貌的重要原因,其存在可以震源機制解進行佐證,此構造對造山帶逆衝斷層的發育造成阻擋,並使得轉換帶發育反時序逆衝斷層(馬頭山斷層)。根據三維斷層模型的綜合討論,本研究提出轉換帶斷層發育的時序,由老到年輕依序為鹿窟斷層-獺頭斷層-布拉社斷層、竹頭崎斷層、崙後斷層、觸口斷層北段-獺頭斷層、觸口斷層南段、背衝楔狀體、馬頭山斷層。
英文摘要 In southwestern Taiwan, there are two fault systems in our studied area: the Chiayi and Tainan systems. The previous studies have proposed characteristic structural geometry and the feature of different thrust systems; however, the structural transfer zone between the thrust systems has been less addressed. The purpose of this study is to figure out what happened between these two fault systems.
The geological maps published by Chinese Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and the stratigraphic separation diagrams (SSDs) were used for reference in reconstructing fault geometry to reveal fault system linkage in the subsurface. Several balance-cross sections, previously and newly built with SKUA GOCAD software, were reconstructed and combined to establish and demonstrate 3D geometry and characteristics of the structural transfer zone.
This study conclusively proposes that: 1, the Tato tear fault played a role of lateral ramp of the thrusts in the Chiayi system and confined the Lunhou and Matoushan faults propagating laterally to the north on its southern side; 2, the Chutouchi fault connects to the Matoushan fault; 3, the blind thrust wedge with opposite vergence formed in front of the structural transfer zone and hampered the fault system to develop forlandward, cause the older fault to be reactivated; and 4, a fault evolution model in the structural transfer zone can be built.
