中文摘要 在競爭激烈的產業環境中,許多企業在資訊科技基礎建設上持續投入可觀的資源,期望提升其整體營運績效與組織成員之工作績效進而達成商業利益的提升。然而研究顯示,在企業的資訊科技投資和其績效之間未發現直接關聯。導入後的資訊系統未被系統使用者充分地使用是企業組織無法獲得預期效益的重要原因。換言之,提升系統使用程度是企業在導入資訊系統後所面臨的關鍵議題。過去研究多以系統中心觀點為基礎,然現今資訊系統之功能繁多,在探討系統使用程度時應依據功能中心觀點,以期能符合功能發展日益複雜的資訊系統。
本研究旨在探討系統使用程度之先行因素及其對個人工作績效之影響。本研究以TFT-LCD產業中的C公司為背景,以使用IQIS(Integrated Quality Information System)系統之品保總處工程人員為調查對象。本研究的結果證實資訊系統的使用能夠提高工作績效,高階管理者應該致力於資訊系統的開發以及誘導使用者積極使用。
英文摘要 Competition and the environment of economics and industries has became more and more severe, corporations continuously invest in information systems in a hope to enhance advantages and business performance. However, it is common that these IS/IT fall short of fulfilling their responsibility. Previous researches suggested that one of the underlying reason is the low extent use of the system. Therefore, increasing users’ extent of system usage becomes essential for firms to realize the benefits from the investment in IS/IT infrastructure that have been promised. This research intends to examine the effect of the extent of system usage on individual job performance. Unlike the extant studies, this research adopt a feature-centered approach to examines the construct of system usage extent and proposes that use history and organizational support have impacts on the individual system usage extent. The result of this research shows that the usage of information system has positive relation to job performance, and thus company needs to build up efficient systems and incent employee to use it.
