This study defines the senior users as the retired elderly person who aged 55 or above and still have continuous learning behavior. In addition, this study explores the experience and ideas of highly educated senior with the university degree or above. Through the STAM and semi-structured interviews, this study provides an in-depth understanding of the highly educated seniors on smart mobile devices use motivations and intentions. By analyzing the experience of smart mobile device use and ideas of highly educated senior users, this study provides feedback to the future elder users and the product suppliers. This study found that highly educated senior users were not familiar with the basic concept of smart mobile devices. Senior user demands ease-of-use and supplementary learning courses, including knowledge about internet use, to improve senior users awareness. For the product suppliers, this study provides the recommendation from senior users and provides a better innovation idea for research and development.
