中文摘要 蘋果公司屢次推出產品,總是能吸引市場上消費者的目光,這都是因為Apple不斷為人們創造新的產品,甚至擁有蘋果產品已成為一種潮流。因此本研究將著墨於什麼樣的公司策略和意圖可以助於產品創新。從過去理論也指出,管理的成果取決於公司在建立競爭優勢時所操控的資源,而過去資源基礎理論較多是在探討資源的特性而非這些資源之間的關係和組織是如何利用資源營運企業。並且,過去學者也較少以創業導向和學習導向做為驅動企業進行產品創新的因素,故將以創業導向及學習導向做為競爭優勢加以探討。此外,產品創新的過程也可能會受到環境動亂的影響,故本研究也納入科技的不確定性作為干擾變數,探討在不同程度的技術變動中,產品創新對於企業績效的影響是否有顯著差異。
本研究使用中華徵信所2007年行業分類標準,針對製造業及某些服務業進行問卷發放。填答者則所鎖定企業董事長、總經理、協理、課長或其他研發部門相關的職務為發放目標,共發放253份,有效問卷為141份。
本研究採用SPSS17.0和AMOS17.0統計軟體分析,使用敘述性統計、信效度分析、迴歸分析與變異數分析等方法進行樣本分析與假說檢定。研究結果發現:(1)創業導向對產品創新有正向影響;(2)學習導向對產品創新有正向影響;(3)產品創新對創業導向和企業績效有中介效果;(4)產品創新對學習導向和企業績效有中介效果;(5)科技不確定性並不影響產品創新對企業績效的影響程度。
英文摘要 The Apple products continue to fascinate people because of their creative product. They always keep developing new product, such as iPod, iphone and iPad, and it’s a trend to hold their innovation. Therefore, this research will focus on what kind of organizational strategy or intent that drives product innovation in the firm. While theory suggests that management has discretion in manipulating resources in order to build their competitive advantages, resource-based research has focused on the characteristics of resources, and paying less attention to the relationship between those resources and the way firms are organized. However, pervious researchers seldom regard entrepreneurship orientation and learning orientation as the factors driving the firms’ innovation. Furthermore, the environment dynamics might influence the innovation process. Therefore, this study also includes technology uncertainty as a moderator to eamine if its effects on the relationship between the mediators and outcome variables.
The samples of this study are from manufacturing and some service industries. The informants include presidents, general manager, associated managers. Section chiefs and R&D related employee. 253 questionnaires were sent out and 141 valid were returned. SPSS and AMOS17.0 were used for data analysis including reliability and validity analysis, regression analysis, t test and ANOVA test.
The result of this study indicates that (1) entrepreneurship orientation is positively related to product innovation; (2) learning orientation is positively related to product innovation; (3)product innovation has mediating effect between entrepreneurship orientation and performance; (4) product innovation has mediating effect between learning orientation and performance; and (5)the empirical tests do not reveal a moderating effect of technology uncertainty on the relationship between product innovation and performance.
