中文摘要 近幾年來觸控面板搭載各式各樣的終端電子產品,觸控面板產業成為台灣新興發展產業,而台灣在觸控面板業投入廠商快速增加,積極投入並布局設廠增產並不斷發展觸控面板的新技術,然而,中國及韓國各大廠虎視眈眈,日本仍主導關鍵上游供應鏈技術與材料,種種加劇觸控產業動盪不安與競爭,因此欲研究台灣觸控面板產業競爭,整體發展與趨勢,以作為產業規劃以及未來產業策略考量方向。
本研究對象為台灣觸控面板廠商,研究之廠商包含辰鴻、勝華、洋華、介面、富晶通、熒茂及和鑫七家上市廠商,樣本取自2008年第四季至2011年第四季。建立Panel Data模型,根據結構-行為-績效理論建構研究架構,同時加入經營環境的構面,藉以檢定市場結構、廠商行為及經營環境對經營績效之影響。本研究使用迴歸分析最小平方法,並使用單根檢定、共線性檢定、顯著性檢定及自我相關檢定以修正模型。以股東權益報酬率、資產報酬率及純益率為經營績效之代理變數。
根據最終修正之模型,獲得以下結論: 一.市場結構對經營績效之影響:市場占有率對經營績效呈現顯著之正相關,市場集中度為負相關但不顯著,銷貨成長率為正相關但不顯著。二.廠商行為對經營績效之影響:負債比率、研究發展費用率、投資密集度及落後一期研究發展費用率呈顯著負相關。三. 經營境對經營績效之影響與金融風暴對經營績效呈顯著負相關,匯率呈正相關但不顯著。
英文摘要 Recently, touch panels are mounted on a variety of end electronic products, and its industry is emergingin Taiwan. As a result, this study attempted to study the overall development & trend of Taiwan’s Touch Panel Industry as the industry planning and future policies when considering industry.
The study samples came from Taiwan’s 7 listed Touch Panel firms, including TPK, Wintek, YoungFast, JTouch, TransTouch, Mildex and HannsTouch from the 4th quarter in 2008 to same period in 2011. In addition, this study based on structure-conduct-performance theory to construct research structure; also, included environmental circumstances to test the influence to operating performance.The study used least square method in regression analysis, unit root test, multicollinearity test, significance test and autocorrelation test to fix our model.
According to the final model, we required the following conclusion. Firstly, the influence of market structure to operating performance: Market share to performance shows significantly positive correlation; market concentration shows insignificantly negative correlation; sales growth rate shows insignificantly positive correlation. Secondly, the influence of industry conduct to operating performance: debt ratio, RD (research and development) rate, R&D of 1 period lagged and investment intensity rate show significantly negative correlation. Thirdly, The influence of environmental circumstances to operating performance: financial crisis to operating performance shows significantly negative correlation. Exchange rate shows insignificantly positive correlation.
