中文摘要   有鑑於全球環保風氣日漸盛行,現今企業面對環保議題時,應不再只是將之視為會阻礙公司發展的議題,取而代之應將之視為與公司發展相輔相成的手段。因此本研究將探討企業執行環保策略時的動機,想更深入了解影響企業執行綠色技術創新的因子。以綠色引擎理論(green engine theory)和資源基礎論(resource-based view)為理論架構,並以綠色核心能力、管理者對環境的關注及創新型組織文化為企業實行綠色技術創新的驅動力,探討上述三個驅動力是否真的會影響企業實行綠色技術創新,且進一步影響企業經營績效。
  本研究對象主要是以台灣製造業廠商為主,研究結果發現,綠色核心能力、管理者對環境的關注及創新型組織文化確實會驅動企業實行綠色技術創新,且進一步為企業帶來正面的經營績效。另外,本研究也以外部環境壓力為調節變數,想探討企業是否會為了回應外部環境壓力,而強化綠色技術創新與經營績效的關係。然而,本研究顯示並無調節效果。本研究歸因於台灣產業特性,台灣企業較注重內部壓力,如股東和員工壓力,及台灣企業對政府的環保法規不熟稔。
  總結來說,企業應正視環保議題,並以實行綠色創新,便能帶給企業正面的經營績效。若企業擁有難以模仿和複製的綠色核心能力、管理者對於環境的關注程度高、組織文化偏向創新型,則較容易發展出綠色技術創新策略。
英文摘要 In light of increasing popularity of environmental concern all around the globe, balance between business performance and environmental protection has become a burning issue for managerial authorities. To discover influential factors of business green innovation, this study is aimed to examine the motivation of environmental strategies. Based on green engine theory and the resource-based view as theoretical framework, and with following three drivers: green core competence, managerial concern, and innovative organizational culture, this study examines whether these three drivers influence business green technical innovation and, in turn, business performance.
The Samples of this study are mainly from manufacturing industry in Taiwan. According to the final results, green core competence, managerial environmental concern, and innovative organizational culture can drive a company to implement green technical innovation. Moreover, business can perform better by implementing green technical innovation.
Nevertheless, due to industry characteristics in Taiwan with much more emphasis on internal pressure and due to companies’ unfamiliarity with Taiwanese environmental regulations, moderator-external environmental pressure didn’t strengthen the relationship between green technical innovation and business performance.
To sum up, green core competence, managerial environmental concern, and innovative organizational culture will drive business to implement green technical innovation, and even will lead to great business performance. Nowadays, businesses should pay more attention on environmental issue, and achieve better business performance through green innovation.
