中文摘要 危機事件的爆發常出乎廠商的意料之外,使得廠商為了因應危機事件而疲於奔走,並試圖採取最好的回應措施,以維護自身績效並維持競爭優勢。由於不同的危機類型可能導致不同的結果,故本研究將以智慧型手機產業為研究樣本,探討受害群、意外群及可避免群的危機類型對廠商績效與競爭對手行動之影響。此外,亦考量績效在危機類型與市場地位之間、競爭者行動數目在危機類型與回應速度之間是否存在交互效果。
本研究之研究結果發現,受害群與可避免群對績效有顯著影響,且影響關係相反,而焦點廠商的市場地位亦存在交互效果。此外,受害群與可避免群對競爭者行動數目亦有顯著影響,影響關係亦相反,但回應速度並不會干擾到其關係。
英文摘要 Crisis events usually are unexpected. In order to retain the performance and sustain competitive advantage, firms always try their best to have the right response. Different crisis type could make different results, this study will discuss how victim cluster, accidental cluster, and preventable cluster will influence focal firm performance and the number of competitor action. Besides, this study will discuss the interactive effect between crisis type and market status on firm performance and between crisis type and response speed on the action number of competitor.
The main findings are as follows: 1) Victim cluster and preventable cluster are significant on firm performance but with opposite effect. 2) Market status of focal firm has significant interactive effect. 3) Victim cluster and preventable cluster are significant on the action number of competitor but with opposite effect. 4) The response speed has no interactive effect.
