英文摘要 Elderly population increases in the 21st century. Because the population growth become aging, and medical services become more important. This study wanted to design emergency beds in the surrounding environment to improve patient safety problem, and attempt to evaluate Emergency department.
The purpose of this study is to use affordance to design emergency security environment designed to elder. With safety affordance theory to find the highest environmental factors in elderly emergency department of social exchange .Finally, provide design guidelines for the elderly to create the ideal physiological and psychological safety emergency environment.
First of all, the research on the side of this research method is that elders see the picture about emergency room so that observe elderly emergency environment to identify the elderly in the emergency environment focusing on environmental factors as a reference in the design emergency environment .Second, In case of emergency experienced by the elderly do in-depth interviews to understand the problems and needs of actual emergency room, to intend the elderly condition in the emergency room.
Finally, using the result in interview and questionnaires for environmental design, and making evaluation with questionnaire .The study hopes to provide new direction of design in the emergency environment with safety affordance.
