英文摘要 Projects are becoming more and more popular in modern business. With the prevalent development of information technology, face-to-face teams are changing into virtual teams out of necessity in this contemporary business environment. As a result of this transformation process, many problems have emerged, including such issues as how to manage a virtual team well or improve its performance. In addition, knowledge sharing in a virtual team is as well a significant issue that needs investigation. Previous researchers have investigated many aspects of these problems. However, the relationship quality of virtual teams remains questionable. Based on a sample of 210 individuals who has been joining project work, this study found that communication technology, shared goal and team diversity have effect on team member relationship quality. In addition, knowledge sharing is found to mediate the relationship between shared goal and communication technology to TMX relationship quality. In the same way, mutual trust is considered to mediate the relationship between knowledge sharing to TMX relationship quality. More discussions and research implications are provided at the end of the study.
