This thesis explores the interaction between actors via their own resources within a network by using qualitative single case study. Through the study, researcher comes up with some relevance between one of Taiwan UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) manufacturer with its internal resources, and external resources. Hence, this thesis tries to apply Resource-based view (RBV), dynamic capabilities and Industrial Marketing and Purchasing (IMP) perspective to analyze the interaction context to figure out why they can sustain competitive advantage and how they utilize resources in the field. Moreover, there is less empirical evidence in Taiwan according IMP perspective for reference.

The research results in the importance of interaction with actors to achieve sustainable development in industry, especially for information technology industry. Furthermore, to reach intimacy interaction, it is necessary to cooperate with mature trust and commission so that the interaction process could meet each actor’s further expectation, besides product itself.
