2009 G-20 meeting, the relationship between China and U.S.A., so-called G2, has already formed. China has been stronger and more powerful than before about 30 years after conducting it open door policy. China’s impacts on politics, and economy and military are so ubiquitous around the world that every country needs to face up to and put emphasize on the emerging Greater China Economic Circle.
Because Taiwanese businessmen had already entered into China successively in the very beginning of its opening, the roots in and the interactions with China are far deeper and more frequent than those of foreign companies from other countries.The cross-strait policy in the past distorted the structure, cash flow, and organization of the parent companies, its subsidiaries, and the whole corporate groups, making “the umbilical cord” never connected. Everything, however, has changed considerably in recent years. Taiwanese businessmen’s capital policy or listing strategy in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong will be brand new. The pros and cons, the laws and regulations, and the choices are all the key points that we should re-evaluate and consider.
This research will introduce and discuss the capital market in China. After that, China securities regulation and its development and structure will be studied. Then, the scale, as well as various indicators, of China’s securities market and the major international markets will be compared and analyzed. Taiwanese enterprises listing on both China and Taiwan exchanges, then, will be analyzed and evaluated. Finally, according to the items and questions that Taiwanese businessmen need to notice, this research will provide possible solutions and recommendations for reference.
