In the literary work， it’s common to find the “sound” and the “shade” of birds， in which there are many implications of meaning and spirits. Observeing the 629 Jia-Xuan poetry ， 348 of them related to the bird image ， altogether 36 kinds of birds were mentioned， this article take the Jia-Xuan birds image as the object of study， Poetry were classified according to different bird， and based on the Jia-Xuan’s biography experience， to make a through inquiry and analyze on the represented subject of the bird image， To survey the significance of putting birds in poetry in various poetry phase.
This article is divided to nine chapters， the gist as following ：
Chapter one Introduction. Concerns the research motive， the range of study， the research technique， the Jia-Xuan’s biography .
Chapter two To research the Chinese francolin image in Jia-Xuan poetry. Firstly this chapter analyzes the implication of the Chinese francolin image， To trace and correct errors on the calling sound and the image of the Chinese francolin. According to the Jia-Xuan’s biography， induces the Chinese francolin image represented subject in Jia-Xuan Poetry： Worries when the country wound， the relatives and friends are reluctant to part ways and concurrently sorrowed over the country wound， leisure and amusive hobby.
