中文摘要 研究目的:本研究將從個人、家庭、同儕及學校等層面,探討青少年自殺危險行為的盛行率、影響因素及其預測力與性別差異。
研究方法:為描述性相關性研究法,分析2002年成功大學「本土化高危險群青少年篩選模式之建立」計畫資料庫。採多步驟隨機抽樣方式,取南部某縣市7所高中職一年級生,有效問卷共1,385份。研究工具為「青少年生活經驗量表」,問卷內容含自殺危險程度篩選量表與相關變項。分析方法依研究對象的自殺危險程度分4組(高、中、低與無危險性),以多元邏輯回歸進行分析。
研究結果 :(1)在1,385位高中職生中,有51.7%學生曾有自殺念頭,23.4%有自殺威脅行為,有2.4%在過去30天內有自殺未遂紀錄,且女多於男。(2)影響自殺危險行為的因素,為性別、焦慮、無望感、壓力感受、親子衝突、自尊、個人偏差行為、家長參與、同儕支持及學校表現,預測力為53.3%。(3)性別差異部分,壓力感受、無望感、焦慮及自尊等同為影響男女生自殺危險行為的因素。親子衝突、家庭憂鬱及同儕支持對女生的影響大於男生;另個人偏差行為及學校表現,對男生的自殺危險行為較有影響。
結論及建議:個人層面因素是影響高中職生自殺危險行為的重要因素,建議未來於青少年自殺的預防上,應針對青少年的相關特質,如出現自殺危險行為的危險程度、性別,供適當的介入措施,以有效降低青少年自殺死亡率。
英文摘要 Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence of suicide risk behavior, and to identify the associated factors, the predictive power of these factors, and existing gender differences in senior high school students.
Method: This study was a descriptive & correlational design. Data in the present study came from the Developing a Screening Protocol for At-risk Youth in Taiwan research program, National Cheng Kung University, collected in 2002. Stratified sampling was used to select the classes of students. A total of 7 senior high schools and vocational schools were recruited with a final of 1,385 questionnaires completed. Instruments used included, High School Questionnaire Chinese version which screened for suicide risks and assessed for associated variables. Subjects were divided into 4 different suicide risk groups, and analyzed through multinomial logistic regression.
Result: (1) Among 1,385 senior high school students, 51.7% students had suicide ideation, 24.3% students had suicide threat, and 2.4% students had a suicide attempt within the past 30 days. (2) The associated factors of suicide risk behavior were gender, perceived stress, hopelessness, anxiety, self-esteem, aggressive behavior, conflict with parents, parental involvement, and peer support; the predictive power was 53.3%. (3) Gender differences, perceived stress, hopelessness, anxiety, and self-esteem were associate factors of suicide risk behavior among males and females. Male-only suicide risk factors were aggressive behavior and school performance; female-only suicide risk factors were conflict with parents, family depression, and peer support.
Conclusion: According to the research results, associated factors related to individual domains were an important aspect in the suicide risk behavior of senior high school students. Therefore, we suggest that future prevention of adolescent suicide should focus on these associative characteristics, such as the degree of suicide risk or gender, to provide appropriate intervention to effectively decrease the adolescent suicide death rate.
