中文摘要   在知識經濟時代,科技的快速進步及產品生命週期不斷縮短,全球化、自由化帶來更大的競爭壓力,企業如何快速有效地取得技術,以因應快速變化的市場需求,已成為建立與維持競爭優勢的重要課題;企業欲提升其技術層次有兩種方式,一是由企業內部自行研發,二則為從外部移轉技術。本研究目的在建構一合作研發技術移轉的研究架構,探討不同廠商特性及專案特徵之廠商,基於組織學習及交易成本理論之觀點,將採用何種互動機制;以及互動機制對產研合作研發技術移轉專案績效之影響。
  本研究係以2003年至2004年,參與金屬工業研究發展中心合作研發技術移轉專案計畫之680家廠商為樣本母體,共發出442份問卷,回收之有效樣本數總計137份,有效回收率為31%。
  對於理論架構與假設之驗證,本研究利用變異數分析來檢驗不同專案統計變數在不同構面間之表現是否有顯著差異;利用線性結構關係模式來檢視研究架構之配適度;利用迴歸分析來驗證廠商特性、專案特徵、互動機制與專案績效間之因果關係。
  根據本研究統計分析之驗證結果,歸納出下列結論與建議,第一、廠商專案負責人的職級不同,其互動機制及專案績效會有顯著差異。廠商專案負責人職級為基層主管或中階主管,則其互動程度及專案績效較高,第二、互動機制對「廠商特性與專案績效」、「廠商準備程度與專案績效」、「專案特徵與專案績效」等皆具有正向顯著的中介效果,亦即廠商可藉由改善互動程度,以提升專案績效,第三、高廠商特性之廠商,亦即研發強度、技術相容性、合作研發經驗較高之廠商,基於組織學習與交易成本理論之觀點,傾向降低互動程度,以獲得成本效益最大化,第四、對參與合作研發專案廠商之建議為,選擇技術相容性高之技術、提供適當的資源配合、並提高溝通品質,對專案績效提升幫助最大,且其中以技術相容性及溝通品質最為重要,第五、對研究機構評選合作廠商之建議為,優先選擇與所欲移轉技術之技術相容性高、可提供適當資源、願意提供高溝通品質之廠商,對技術移轉專案績效之提升影響最顯著,且其中以技術相容性高及重視溝通品質最重要。


英文摘要   In the knowledge-based era, rapid technical advancement, shorten product life cycle, globalization and liberalization bring about the greater competitive pressure. Quickly and effectively acquire the technology and cope with rapidly changing market demand have become the important issues for enterprise to create its competitive advantage. There are two methods for enterprise to upgrade its technical level, such as the enterprise conducts its own R&D internally and technology transfer externally. The purpose of this research is to establish a research framework of cooperative R&D technology transfer. Mainly this study will explore different firm characteristics and firms with project characteristics, on a basis of organizational learning and transaction cost theory, as well as investigate what kind of interaction mechanism shall be adopted and the influence of interaction mechanism will be imposed on technology transfer projects performance through cooperative R&D between industry and research institute.
  This research takes 680 firms that participated in the cooperative R&D technology transfer projects with MIRDC from 2003 to 2004 as sample population. In total, 442 questionnaires were sent out and 137 effective questionnaires were returned with effective recovery rate 31%.
  According to theoretical framework and hypothetical test, this research uses the variance analysis to test whether the performance of statistical variables in different project will have significant difference in different dimension. Again, the linear structural relation model is also used to test the fitness of research framework. Additionally, the regression analysis is applied to verify the causation relations among firm characteristics, project characteristics, interaction mechanism and project performance.
  The research results draw the following conclusions and suggestions: 1. The project leaders of firms with various job grades demonstrates the significant variance on interaction mechanism and project performance, specially the project leader from basic level and medium level shows the higher interaction and project performance. 2. The interaction mechanism demonstrates the positive obvious mediating effect toward “firm characteristics and project performance”, “levels of firm preparation and project performance” and “project characteristics and project performance”. It also means that the firm can improve its interaction to increase the project performance. 3. The firm with high firm characteristics, i.e. the firm is equipped with R&D strength, technical compatibility and more cooperative R&D experiences, tends to lower the interaction to acquire the maximum of cost effect based on organizational learning and transaction cost theory. 4. The suggestion toward the firm, participates in the cooperative R&D project, is that selection of high compatible technology, provision of proper resource and increment of communication quality will tremendously enhance project performance, especially for technical compatibility and communication quality. 5. The suggestion toward the research institute in the selection of cooperative firm is that the firm has the selection priority, has high technical compatibility with desired transfer technology, can provide the proper resources and is willing to offer high communication quality that will significantly affect the project performance, among which the technical compatibility and communication quality are the most important.
