We are presently engaged in planning research to explore the problems and prospects for the success factor of multimedia communications technologies in support of virtual team/group working within a range of commercial organizations for IT industry, looking in particular at the relationships between outcomes, group tasks and organizational factors. By way of motivating this work, we attempt to briefly summarise here some of the conclusions that we have drawn from our previous work in this area.

There were two methods used in the study: literature review and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) questionnaires. The questionnaire was drafted and modified by experts with related literature review, and then mailed to thirty experts who is a virtual team member or who is very knowledgeable on virtual team.
