中文摘要   進入知識經濟時代,知識逐漸被企業視為是重要的經濟資源與競爭力量的主要來源,知識管理成為一項重要的課題。本研究之主要目的在探討知識管理之內涵,以及「知識管理能力」與「組織績效」之關係。「知識管理能力」主要可分為「知識基礎建設能力」與「知識流程能力」,前者包括文化、結構與資訊科技三項因素;後者包括知識獲取、轉換、應用與保護四項因素。本研究以「結構方程模式」(SEM)分析「知識基礎建設能力」、「知識流程能力」與「組織績效」之間的影響關係,以我國定期海運業做為實證對象。實證結果顯示,「知識基礎建設能力」對於「知識流程能力」有正向影響關係,「知識流程能力」對「組織績效」有正向影響關係,而「知識基礎建設能力」對於「組織績效」則無顯著的影響關係。本研究之結果可提供定期貨櫃船公司及相關業者做為營運上之參考。

英文摘要  The concept of knowledge management (KM) has become an important source of competitive advantage for enterprises. This research aims to discuss the implication of KM and examine the relationship between knowledge management capability and organization performance in the context of liner shipping. Knowledge management capability can be divided into knowledge infrastructure capability and knowledge process capability. Knowledge infrastructure capability includes culture, structure and information technology, whereas knowledge process capability consists of knowledge acquisition, knowledge conversion, knowledge application and knowledge protection. A structural equation model (SEM) approach was conducted in this study. Results indicated that knowledge infrastructure capability has a positive effect on knowledge process capability, while knowledge process capability has a positive effect on organization performance. However, the relationship between knowledge infrastructure and organization performance was not supported in this study. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings on knowledge management capability for liner shipping companies were discussed.
