中文摘要   同儕之間的互動以及言語上資訊的傳達與接收,在兒童的行為發展與學習上扮演重要的角色。例如角色扮演,兒童會藉著模仿成人的角色與對話來學習新的社會經驗,透過扮演他們所認知的模範角色,並且模仿他們的社會行為與語言,進而學習社會技巧,加深對於整個生活經驗的認知。

  在兒童的學習過程裡,有許多教材媒體輔助兒童的學習活動,增進整個學習的效率與趣味性。隨著數位科技的發展,教學媒體變得多元化,除了豐富了學習的內容與呈現方式,更重要的是帶來新的學習互動,兒童可以透過遊戲等更豐富的學習方式去體驗學習的內容,藉由多感官的刺激增進學習效果。

  本論文將嘗試利用擴增實境(Augmented Reality)技術來輔助兒童的注音符號學習,提供不同的學習刺激,盼能透過新媒體的應用來增強兒童的學習效果,豐富學習的過程。

  教學系統的建構將分為設計與技術兩個主軸進行,設計內容包括教學課程的設計、虛擬人物的角色設定與製作,技術層面包括擴增實境的環境程式撰寫、硬體的架構安排、互動方式的設定。在課程設計上的學習目標參考一般注音符號教學的課程設計,讓本論文的教學系統擔任學習輔具的角色,而虛擬人物的設定選擇以現在比較受學生認識的卡通人物為製作對象,以3D建模的方式將這些平面形象的卡通角色立體化,融入擴增實境環境中。技術層面在環境程式撰寫上,利用Artoolkit的影像識別功能來定義注音符號圖卡,並且呼叫製作的3D虛擬角色進行學習活動。

  本論文將藉由擴增實境的教學媒材來進行注音符號的教學,於教學實驗後的評量成果發現兒童的學習成績有所進步,在學習的動機與互動上比一般的教學媒體有更好的學習反應。在教學系統的設計與架構上也發現一些可以改進的缺點,可以作為下一階段研究的規劃方向。
英文摘要   Many kinds of media assist children learning activities and provide more rich and cheery interactive learning. Interaction does play a important part especially in children learning, such as imitation, by the roles children play to practice social behavior and enhance social experience. However, the static images, animation and sound the media provide is not enough anymore in the interaction between children and learning content. Therefore, We present a language learning system in Augmented Reality environment to promote Chinese phonetic alphabet learning for children.

  The study of the research was to exert Augmented Reality to construct a learning system, applying such a system to process learning exercise. Augmented Reality learning system provides three learning section. Children could select and pick correct patterns according to the learning targets, and the system avator would judge the response is correct or not and show 3D animal dolls and animation on alphabet patterns. This research discussed the Augmented Reality learning system, focus on comparing the learning achievement with traditional books reading.

  In addition, we proof the Augmented Reality learning system could promote children learning motivation and learning achievements. Finally, through usability evaluation, observing the response to the new media learning system and find out what we can modify and discuss in future studies.
