中文摘要 近幾年來著重需求規劃、製造規劃與企業間溝通透明之供應鏈管理(Supply Chain Management,SCM)系統觀念已被許多企業所認同,無論是企業內部之供應鏈與企業間之供應鏈軟體普遍被應用於解決物料需求規劃(Material Requirements Planning,MRP)之計算、企業間訂單需求…等動態之規劃與排程問題,以即時反應環境之需求。先進排程系統(Advanced Planning System,APS)為供應鏈管理系統中,最常被使用之模組之一,對工廠之排程績效亦產生一定之影響。
鋼鐵產業為連續製程產業之一,而連續製程產業之特性有別於一般裝配製造業,故應用APS于鋼鐵業時,其設計考量點亦不同。另在一貫作業鋼廠之製程若上、下游產能間產生瓶頸製程,在供應鏈系統APS模組之使用上,必須運用限制理論的思維,以便達到高達交率與低庫存之目標。
本研究除探討連續製程產業之特性外,對導入APS時必須與企業資源規劃 (Enterprise Resouce Planning,ERP) 系統整合之軟硬體架構,其導入方法與導入前應準備之步驟亦詳加探討,並以個案公司為例,探討鋼鐵產業導入先進排程系統的程序。另研究以限制理論為基礎之先進排程系統及未以限制理論為基礎的先進排程系統,其在個案公司執行之結果及其績效的差異比較。結果是一個含有瓶頸產線之鋼鐵製程,以限制理論為基礎之排程法有明顯之排程績效。
英文摘要 Supply Chain Management (SCM), with focus on demand planning, manufacturing planning and the transparency of information flow among departments or enterprises, is now recognized as one of the best ways to improve business efficiency. Available supply chain management software has been used to optimize internal and external business practice and to improve the interaction with its suppliers and customers through better materials requirements planning, purchasing order process, production planning and scheduling. In a SCM package, advanced planning and scheduling (APS) is one of the most popular modules since it has significant impact on scheduling performance.
Steel industry is one of the high-value added process industries. Due to its material processing characteristics, the production planning and scheduling practice is very different than those in the discrete industries. Considering the effect of bottleneck problems, which are common in process industry, the application of theory of constraints (TOC) is a possible solution in the application of APS.
This research explores the characteristics of steel industry and uses it as the basis to develop the framework for the process industry in order to systematically plan and install APS module, especially when it is necessary to integrate the APS with legacy systems and ERP. A case study is used to illustrate the procedure to implement APS using Simplified Drum-Buffer-Rope (S-DBR) scheduling approach. The performance improvement when using TOC approach is also discussed. It is concluded that on the process industry, applying TOC concept on the implementation of APS is feasible and is strongly suggested for the practitioners
