中文摘要 鑑於工業革命以來,經濟活動的發展伴隨著環境汙染問題,導致現今溫室效應、汙染問題日益嚴重,許多國家日漸關切環境保護議題,並投入綠色資源於環境保護活動,因此本研究將以環境保護與環境管理觀點,探討環境策略、環境知識循環活動、綠色創新與企業績效間之相關性。
本研究以通過ISO14001的台灣製造業為研究對象,將製造業分為金屬機械業、石化業、資訊電子業及民生工業等四大類,以探討不同行業類別、企業組織規模及不同綠色策略對環境知識循環活動、綠色創新與企業績效之差異及其影響。並採用變異數分析(ANOVA分析)來分析資料,藉以瞭解企業執行環境知識循環活動、綠色策略、綠色創新與企業績效之間的相互影響性。
本研究首先以文獻探討的方式,進而推論出研究模式與研究假設,藉此分析驗證研究假設與研究模式。本研究將環境知識循環活動、環境策略、綠色創新、企業績效、產業別與資本額之間的關係,及分析結果歸納如下:
一、 環境策略對環境知識循環活動呈顯著正向影響。
二、 環境策略與綠色創新呈顯著正向影響。
三、 環境策略與企業績效呈顯著正向影響。
四、 環境知識循環活動與綠色創新呈顯著正向影響。
五、 環境知識循環活動與企業績效呈顯著正向影響。
六、 綠色創新與企業績效呈顯著正向影響。
七、 以組織規模而言,資本額不同對環境策略的選擇、環境知識循環活動的活躍性、綠色創新活動與企業績效有顯著差異;此外,員工人數不同對環境知識循環活動的活躍性、綠色創新活動與企業績效有顯著差異,而員工人數的不同則對環境策略的選擇則無顯著差異。
八、 就產業別而言,不同的產業別對環境知識循環活動、綠色創新活動與企業績效的需求不同,重視程度亦有所不同,其執行上亦有顯著差別;而不同產業對環境策略的選擇上並無不同,故產業別與環境策略的選擇無顯著正向相關。
英文摘要 The aim of this study is to investigate the relationships between environmental strategy, the environmental knowledge circulation process, eco-innovation and corporate performance by the investigation and data sampling of companies approved for International Organization for Standardization 14000 certification in Taiwan prior to December 2007. Data were collected via questionnaires and structural equation modeling was employed to verify the hypothetical construction of the study.
The results indicated that (1) environmental strategy is positively associated with the environmental knowledge circulation process and corporate performance; (2) the environmental knowledge circulation process is positively associated with corporate performance;(3) environmental knowledge circulation process has a significant effect on eco-innovation;(4) positively proactive strategies have the most positive influence on environmental strategy.
Companies adopt positively proactive strategy which could improve the Environmental Knowledge Circulation Process (EKCP), eco-innovation and corporate performance, including environmental performance and financial performance. EKCP can also help corporation manage tacit and explicit environmental knowledge more effectively through environmental knowledge management. Therefore, company with positive environmental strategy and efficient EKCP not only can consistently enhance green knowledge assets, eco-innovation, corporate performance and its international competitiveness, but also can create green business opportunity for corporate and environmental sustainable development.
