中文摘要 近年來,環保在全世界已經是不容忽視的議題,而商業界對於環境的挑戰展開了許多運用綠色資本策略來提升綠色產品的開發與應用。目前綠色設計影響因素已經從單一產品面涵蓋到企業整體環境以及社會責任。而布朗嘉教授進一步提倡了「Cradle to Cradle, C2C(從搖籃到搖籃)」新理念,有助於綠色產品能在資本的基礎下達到安全零污染、零廢棄物且符合社會公平之層面。然而C2C標準規範比起國內相關環保認證標準來的更嚴謹與繁複,對工業設計師或研發人員在進行綠色產品開發時較不易決策,無法直接找到所需之設計規範與準則。故本研究目的為提出符合C2C認證之產品開發系統流程,使企業能循序漸進達成認證標準。
本研究將探討企業與C2C觀念現況環保趨勢之困難點,經程序設計、綠色設計原則、生命週期評估等文獻分析以及半結構式訪談了六位專家及學者彙整出生命週期評估、C2C產品開發要求項目、環保之現況趨勢、企業執行C2C產品開發方法策略、企業執行C2C之考量與依賴因素共五個構面進而產生應用原則及流程,並整合品質機能展開(Quality Function Deployment,QFD)擬定出一個符合C2C標準之系統流程以及觀念建議,接者以一款複雜性較低汽車香水為例進行前端理論測試提出三個概念設計方案並給予評估與分析進一步決策出一款可執行下階段開發。
研究結果顯示企業現況執行C2C產品觀念建議有:(1)企業可依照現有的能力進行逐步改善、(2)材料選擇上起初選用天然材料著手、(3)回收方式應加入創新的售後服務系統、(4)申請產品的環保相關標籤助於企業形象提昇、(5)持續研究如何更有環保效益物流整合方案、(6)執行C2C產品開發成為業界的環保領頭羊、(7)眼光放遠進行長期的成本規劃換算。
符合C2C認證產品的建議開發原則有:(1)了解各階段產品開發與C2C原則執行之關聯性以及各個原則適合在哪階段做執行,例如C2C人員教育訓練、以及獲知製造、販售地區的環保法規都在開發初期去執行、概念設計階段須注重原料的環保安全性以及產品有效時間、商品規劃階段應發表公司對於水源資源管理之聲明、量產階段應該監測電力及直接排放溫室氣體量、售後追蹤階段可引導使用者做完善回收方式之原則、(2)整合品質機能展開確保品質要求特性順利讓產品產出、(3)實施階段過程中可諮詢輔導單位,例如德商搖籃到搖籃設計顧問有限公司台灣分公司、台灣工研院綠能所、台灣產業服務基金會、台灣環境管理協會、台灣塑膠中心以及學術界。以上藉此作為業界參考,促進更多企業落實C2C產品之開發。
英文摘要 In recent years, the environmental protection becomes an issue that can’t be ignored globally. The challenges posed by the commercial industry onto environment result in a lot of cases that apply the green asset strategy to improve the development and application of green products. Currently the factors influencing green design have covered not only the product, but also the overall corporate environment and the social corporate responsibility. Furthermore, Prof. Braungart promotes the new principle of Cradle to Cradle (C2C), which facilitates the green products to achieve the safety with no pollution and no waste on the basis of capital, conforming to the social equity. However, the C2C standards are more strict and complicated than the related environmental protection certification standards in Taiwan. It is difficult for the industrial designer or R&D engineer to make decision when developing the green products, because it is unable to find the desired design specification and code. Thus, the purpose of the study is to propose the product development system workflow that complies with C2C certification, so the enterprise can gradually meet the certification standards.
The study will explore the difficulties of the current environmental protection trend encountered by the enterprise and the C2C view. After the literature analysis on procedure design, green design principle and life cycle assessment, it conducts semi-structured interview on 6 experts and scholars to sort out a total of five dimensions including the life cycle assessment, C2C product development requirements, current trend environmental protection trend, enterprise product development method and strategy for implementing C2C, considerations and dependent factors of the enterprise for implementing C2C. It further generates the application principles and procedures, as well as integrates the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to work out the system workflow and suggestions that meet C2C standards. After that, it takes a car perfume that is not very complicated as an example to perform frontend theory test, in which it proposes three concept design schemes, conducts assessment and analysis, and further make decision on the development of the next stage.

The study results show the product view suggestions for implementing C2C based on the current situation of the enterprise, as listed below: (1) The enterprise can gradually make improvements based on the current capability; (2) It should select the natural material initially; (3) It should add innovative after-sale service system in the recycling way; (4) Applying the product volume label related to environmental protection may facilitate the enterprise to improve corporate image; (5) It should continuously study the logistic integrated scheme with better environmental protection benefits; (6) It should implement C2C product development to become a leading role in environmental protection in the industry; (7) It should take the long view to make long-term cost planning and conversion.
The suggested development principles for the products that meet C2C certification are listed as below: (1) It should understand the correlation between the product development and C2C principle implementation in each stage, as well as the stage to implement each principle. For example, the C2C personnel training, and the instruction of the environmental protection laws in the manufacturing and selling regions should be carried out in the initial stage of the development. During the concept design, it should focus on the eco-friendly safety of the raw material and the validity of the product. In the product planning stage, it should release the statement of water resource management for the enterprise. In the volume production stage, it should monitor the power and the direct greenhouse emission. In the after-sale stage, it may guide the user to improve the recycling principles. (2) It should integrate QFD to guarantee the quality features as required and to output the products smoothly. (3) During the implementation, it may consult the instruction institutions, such as EPEA Intl. Umweltforschung Gmbh Taiwan Branch, ITRI Green Energy and Environment Research Laboratories, Foundation of Taiwan Industry Service, Taiwan Environmental Management Association, Taiwan Plastics Industry Development Center and Academia. The above information can serve as reference for the industries, so as to promote more enterprises to carry out C2C product development.
